Arowolo held by prison guards Arowolo in tears after he was sentenced
Akolade Arowolo who denied killing his banker wife, Titilayo on the 24th of June, 201l in their home has been found guilty. Titilayo was stabbed to death by her husband on his birthday after they had a little argument. He was found guilty on a one-count charge of murder few hours ago in an Ikeja High court and has been sentenced to death by hanging. Arowolo till now and his lawyer denied he ever stabbed his wife to death, but
accepted she fell on a knife after they had an argument in their 2-bedroom apartment in Lagos. The head of the Department of Pathology, Lagos State
University Teaching Hospital also proved in court that 76 stabs wound were found on her
body, and it couldn’t have been just an accident. As at then, they had a 2-year old daughter together, who must be around 5 now.
