The elder sister of Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo was overcome with grief on Wednesday as his remains arrived in his hometown of Ujari, Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State ahead of his burial
She broke down in tears at the family compound as the vehicle conveying the actor’s body arrived.
She was also seen wailing uncontrollably and attempting to move closer to the ambulance before being restrained by relatives who tried to comfort her amid the emotional scene.
Her visible distress set the tone for the somber atmosphere as family members and sympathisers gathered in shock to receive the late actor’s remains.
A wake was later held at the family residence at 7 Ekubo Okwaraeke Avenue, Aziukwukwa Ujari Village, Arochukwu, drawing friends, relatives, and well-wishers who came to pay their final respects.
