A Nigerian-American individual, Innocent Tino, has sparked an online debate by asserting that musician Rema should compensate him for utilizing the term “ozeba” in a song

Tino claims to have popularized the term, which means “trouble” in the Benin language, on his social media platforms about four years ago.
He believes his usage brought the word into the mainstream and is seeking recognition for it.
Rema’s song, released on July 11, has become a hit, and Tino is seeking compensation for what he perceives as his role in making the term well-known.
