Amidst the claims of Hishab that her participation in the just concluded Miss Nigeria beauty pageant is ilegal, 18-year old Ms Shatu Garko has re-introduced herself on social media as the new Miss Nigeria.
Recall Hisbah had said they will be inviting her parents for questioning, saying they owe them an explaination on why she particiapted in the just conducted pageant.
Hisbah actually called her participation Ilegal and not worthy of a true Muslim lady
However adjusting her crown and re-introducing herself on twitter, Shatu wrote;
”Allow me to reintroduce myself, my name is Shatu Garko, and I am the 44th Miss Nigeria.
It still feels like a dream.. I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of love! Thank you Nigeria for your support throughout this journey, my heart is filled with gratitude”.
