Funke Akindele, lost the Best Supporting Actress award at the 12th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards to fellow actress Linda Ejiofor for her role in The Herd
Ejiofor emerged winner in a category that featured some of Nollywood’s biggest names, including Akindele, whose performance in Behind The Scenes had generated strong conversations online ahead of the awards ceremony.
Other nominees in the category included Bisola Aiyeola for Gingerrr, Sola Sobowale for The Covenant, Nadia Dutch for Aljana, Amal Umar for The Herd, Juliebrenda Nyambura for MTV Shuga Mashariki, and Olamide Kidbaby for Oversabi Aunty.
