Juliet Kings Unigwe, the mother and manager of actress Angel Unigwe, has slammed a lawsuit against legendary actor Kanayo O Kanayo
An accusation of contract breach and defamation of character was filed in the suit.
This comes after Kanayo publicly criticized Angel Unigwe on social media, claiming she failed to complete a production and alleging that her mother has a history of breaching contracts by removing her from sets prematurely.
Kanayo also threatened to disrupt Angel’s future movie projects.
In a press statement, Juliet Unigwe vehemently denied the allegations, stating that they “hold sacred the terms of any contract” and are committed to fulfilling their obligations.
She expressed hurt and disappointment over the “false accusations and slanderous statements” made by Kanayo.
The lawsuit aims to address the alleged contract violation and defamation.
