Angela Okorie explains why she burnt outfit worn to Alexx Ekubo burial

Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has shared a personal decision she made following her attendance at the burial of late actor Alex Ekubo.

She revealed that she set fire to the outfit she wore for the ceremony based on advice she received.

In a reflective message, Angela explained that the decision was influenced by guidance from her godmother, who advised that clothing worn to burial ceremonies should not be kept or reused.

According to her, she chose to follow the counsel and felt it was important to also pass the information along to others who might not be aware of such beliefs or practices.

“This is the outfit i wore to Alex’s burial, my Godmother said is not good to have the cloth you wore to a burial around you, you burn them.

So family and friends take note, I felt i should pass this information. May the lord keep and bless us with long life amen Chaii”, she wrote.
