Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie has continued to address rumors of her eviction by her Lagos landlord
Some even claim she had been behind on rent for two years.
Although Angela had previously denied owing rent, she took to Instagram to strongly confront the accusations.
As an actress, she expressed her readiness to fight those spreading false stories to damage her image.
She made it clear that she was not evicted by her landlord.
Angela wrote:
“Nigerians, if you believe that eviction story, then you’ll believe anything on social media, tufiakwa. I should be worried, I’m no longer safe in this country. I’m not owing any rent. It was a plan with Nwayi Gala and the landlord to make it look like eviction. I and my son weren’t even in the video. Why are people so gullible?
“Imagine if I was at home—do you think it would have happened? There are evil people in this world. You won’t leave me alone, so fine, the battle line has been drawn. War is what I’ll give you. I’m coming.
“Anybody paying people to twist the narrative about me is evil. We must make an example out of someone first.”
