Another Alleged Bank Debtor, Arthur Eze Sues Wema Bank For N200bn

It’s absolutely not a good thing to call someone a debtor
especially when the person in question does not owe. Days after Abike Dabiri
sued Diamond bank to the tune of N500m for falsely publishing her name in a
national newspaper among those owing the bank, renowned philanthropist and
business mogul, Prince Engr. Arthur Eze has also sued the management of Wema
Bank Plc to the tune of N200bn for allegedly publishing his name among those
owing the bank, when in actual fact, he is not owing them.
To assuage the damage he suffered on account of the false
and defamatory publication of his name and photograph among the debtors of the
bank in a national daily on August 7, 2015, Eze is asking for the sum of N200bn
    through his lawyers.
The bank had earlier published that Eze owed the sum of
    N136.93m.
