The Enugu State House of Assembly today, Tuesday, 22 of
July, 2014 have commenced impeachment proceedings against the deputy governor
of the state, Sunday Onyebuchi.

It was learnt that 20 out of the 22 lawmakers who are mostly
PDP members have already signed the impeachment notice and had already directed
its clerk to serve the notice to the deputy governor. According to reports the
state governor, Sullivan Chime is believed to be one of the people behind this.
