Anthony Joshua has returned to the gym under the guidance of coach Iegor Golub as he prepares for a potential comeback fight later this year
The two-time world heavyweight champion had stepped away from boxing following a tragic car accident in Nigeria last year that claimed the lives of two of his closest friends.

Joshua had been linked to a blockbuster clash with longtime rival Tyson Fury, who is set to return from retirement next month to face Russian heavyweight Arslanbek Makhmudov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Now back in training, Joshua is working with Golub, who also coached him during the short build-up to his fight against Jake Paul, where Joshua stopped the American in six rounds. Joining them in the gym was Golub’s compatriot Oleksandr Usyk, who is preparing for his own bout against kickboxing legend Rico Verhoeven in May.

Joshua was seen focusing on technical drills, heavy bag work, and rope exercises to sharpen his skills and conditioning, with Golub posting updates on social media, captioned: “Back to training.”
The 36-year-old appears committed to regaining his form as he gears up for a return to the ring.
