Anthony Joshua, the world-renowned boxer, has extended a warm invitation to Nigerians living abroad to return home and experience the beauty of their homeland
Currently in Nigeria for the festive season, Joshua shared a heartfelt message, encouraging those in the diaspora to connect with their roots and discover the rich culture of Nigeria.
In a video message, Joshua expressed his excitement about being in Lagos, praising the warmth and hospitality of the Nigerian people. He urged those who have not visited Nigeria to book their tickets and come home to reunite with family and friends.
Joshua emphasized the importance of personal experience, saying, “You have to get to know yourself, though. I can only tell you, but I can’t show you. You have to be here.” He promised that those who make the trip will have a great time, enjoying the country’s delicious food, vibrant culture, and warm hospitality.
“We’re having a great time out here,” Joshua said. “We have amazing food, from yam and egg to plantain and Guinness. Everything is 10/10, and we’re enjoying it. So, we want you to come join us.”
With his feet firmly on Nigerian soil, Joshua reiterated his invitation, saying, “My feet are here right now, as we speak. My feet are here on the soil. So, listen, if you can come, join us. We’ll be waiting for you.”
