The All Progressives Grand Alliance National Working Committee has suspended key allies of Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo due to alleged anti-party activities
APGA National Chairman, Chief Edozie Njoku, announced the suspension during a press briefing in Abuja.
According to Vanguard, the decision was made due to the individuals’ involvement in illegal primary elections and congresses in Anambra State, violating the party constitution, and disregard for Supreme Court judgments.
The suspended members include Barr. Sylvester Ezeonwuka, Mr. Ifeatu Obi-Okoye, Dr. Alex Obiogbolu, and candidates emerging from the illegal exercises.
Additionally, APGA condemned Chief Victor Oye’s disrespect for court judgments and commended INEC Chairman, Prof. Yakubu Mamood, for obeying court orders.
The party warned Governor Soludo and other APGA elected officials to cease anti-party activities or face disciplinary action.
A disciplinary committee has been established to investigate the suspended members and recommend further action.
