Ariana Grande has been forced to disable the comments section on her Instagram account after trolls
bombarded her with abuse about Mac Miller, who died on Friday from an apparent overdose.
The singer and rapper dated for two years until they split in May. A few weeks later, she revealed that his substance abuse had been a deal breaker in their relationship after a fan tried to blame her for his arrest when he crashed his car while under the influence.
Some hateful Mac Miller fans are also now blaming her for his tragic death.
“This is your fault,” people wrote on the singer’s last picture before the comments were switched off.
“You did this to him,” said another.
And: “I hope you’re happy with Pete.”
