Ariana Grande earned glowing praise from her former manager, Scooter Braun, for her performance in ‘Wicked Part 1’.
The film, which stars Grande, 31, alongside Tony winner Cynthia Erivo, 37, made history with its impressive opening day box office earnings.
Although Braun, 43, stopped managing Grande in August 2023, he worked with her during much of the production of the adaptation of the Tony-winning Broadway musical.
Braun shared his excitement and congratulations for the cast and crew, including Grande, Erivo, director Jon Chu, producer Marc Platt, and Grande’s boyfriend, Ethan Slater.
“This film is truly a labor of love from some of the most talented people on Earth,” Braun said, adding that Erivo’s performance was “beyond extraordinary.”
