said 47 candidates had filed their papers to contest Benin’s presidential
election scheduled for February 28. It said in a press release today in
Cotonou, that among the candidates are former ministers,
Members of Parliament, two army generals and economic operators.

CENA said the list of candidates would be transmitted to the
Constitutional Court for validation. However, they have only 14 days to
campaign, which would be from February 12 to 26. I wonder how they want the
bloggers in their country to make money. Only 2weeks ad? Not fair! Lol.
