Adijat, the woman claiming to be the mother of Asake’s child, has broken her silence about the singer’s alleged abandonment
In a video seen on social media, Adijat shared her painful experience of being left behind by Asake despite her unwavering support during his early struggles.
According to Adijat, she stood by Asake during his school days, sending him money and providing financial support despite her limited means.
However, after he graduated from OAU and relocated to Lekki, Asake allegedly distanced himself from her and their child.
Adijat tearfully recounted how Asake’s attitude towards her changed, making her feel like she was forcing herself on him.
She revealed that when she expressed her concerns about their lack of communication, Asake dismissed her, asking if that was what truly mattered.
The situation took a turn for the worse when Adijat’s mother reached out to Asake about their child’s upcoming birthday, only to be met with a disheartening response.
Asake allegedly told Adijat that she was forcing herself on him and that her problems were too much to handle.
As the years went by, Adijat claimed that Asake showed little to no support for their child, who turned six and seven without any significant contribution from him.
“When he was in school, the little I had, I sent to him. Even the contributions I made, I would collect and send to him. But after he finished from OAU and moved to Lekki, it became difficult to reach him or even see him.”
“When I told him it had been long since we saw each other, he asked me if that was important. He started giving me attitude,” she added.
“He said I was forcing myself on him and that my problems were too much. Later, he sent me messages saying he would block me. He told me I was free to marry someone else, as he had no time for a relationship.”
