The sister of Ayra Starr, Salt of Life, has cried out after her car was damaged by agberos who mistook her for the music star
Explaining her ordeal, she revealed she had simply stepped out of her car to dance before returning to discover what had happened.
Expressing her frustration, Salt of Life said the men repeatedly shouted Ayra Starr’s name because they believed she was the singer, making the incident even more upsetting.
She condemned the growing trend of harassment by area boys and called for urgent action to address the problem.
She wrote:
“i just went to dance.”
“They damaged my car yesterday and honestly it was so sad!!!
”And the fact that they kept shouting Ayrastarr cause they thought I was her even worse that made it.
”THIS HAS TO STOP
”Imagine, this is what happens now in Lagos once you drive a nice car. These Agberos/Area Boys won’t let you go except you give them money. If you don’t give them, them might stone your car and break something. So basically, it’s by force.
”This is not good. How can this be controlled cause it’s getting out of hand?”
