Baba Tee admits to sleeping with Lande’s wife after denying

Popular Yoruba actor Babatunde Tayo, better known as Baba Tee, has retracted his earlier denial and admitted to having a brief sexual encounter with Dara, the wife of comedian and skit maker Ganiyu Morufu, aka Lande

Baba Tee made the confession during a live interview with socialite Esabod and other TikTokers on Sunday, contradicting his previous stance where he challenged Lande to provide proof or face legal action for defamation.

Lande had earlier accused his wife of infidelity, claiming that at least 21 men in the entertainment industry, including Baba Tee, were involved with her. Baba Tee initially dismissed the allegation, stating that he met Dara only once last year through actress Marygold, who introduced her as a content creator.

However, in a surprising turn, Baba Tee admitted to sleeping with Dara but insisted it was an unintentional act that happened during a drunken game of ‘Truth or Dare’ with her and Marygold.

He explained, “When Marygold and Dara came to my house, Marygold introduced her as a content creator, not as Lande’s wife. During a game of ‘Truth or Dare,’ Marygold went completely naked and kept daring me towards Dara while taking alcohol. At one point, she dared Dara to let me have a ‘quick’ sexual encounter with her, and Dara agreed. I didn’t know she was Lande’s wife at the time. I now realize it was a setup to tarnish my image.”

Following his admission, Esabod advised Baba Tee to apologize to Lande for his initial denial and public threats. In response, the actor took to Facebook on Monday to offer an apology, writing, “I am deeply sorry from the bottom of my heart, brother Lande. Deep how Dara became Lande’s wife without my knowledge… Hmmm. I fear women.”
