In the second week of Big Broher Naija Season 10, Thelma Lawson has emerged as the first female interim Head of House (HoH)

She clinched the title after outperforming her fellow contestants in Sunday’s HoH challenge, which tested their coordination and balance. The task involved filling a bottle with water followed by an egg-balancing round using a spoon. In a close final showdown against the previous HoH, Jason Jae, Thelma came out on top.
With her victory, Thelma earns immunity from eviction for the week and exclusive access to the HoH lounge, where she chose to share the space with housemate Kayikunmi.
However, Big Brother introduced a fresh twist: Thelma’s leadership is not yet secure. On Monday, she must defend her title in a challenger match. Should another housemate outperform her, she could be dethroned before the week ends.
The new twist could significantly impact the house dynamics, especially as Thelma’s choice to bring Kayikunmi into the lounge may shift existing alliances or create new tensions.
Meanwhile, housemates received surprising news on Sunday night — there would be no evictions for the week. What had been presented as nomination results last week turned out to be fake, a move BBNaija used to heighten suspense among both contestants and viewers.
Season 10, themed “10/10,” continues to deliver unexpected turns, from shifting power plays to late-night controversies, keeping fans on edge as the competition intensifies.
