Martins Iyeh and Ijeoma “Mercedes” Emi have become the first housemates to exit Big Brother Naija Season 11 after both were evicted during Sunday night’s live show
Their departure followed the first round of public voting for this year’s “Show Ya Sef” edition, with the pair recording the lowest vote percentages among the nominated contestants.
Martins received 1.63 per cent of the total votes, while Mercedes finished slightly higher with 2.29 per cent. Keivo, who garnered 2.92 per cent, escaped eviction and remains in the competition.
Martins was called out as the first evicted housemate before Mercedes was announced, making the night the season’s first double eviction.
The reality show began on July 26, when 24 contestants moved into the Big Brother house to compete for a prize package worth N160 million. The grand prize includes N100 million in cash and an SUV.
The latest edition is being hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and carries the theme “Show Ya Sef”, with “Everything Is For The Taking” serving as its tagline.
