During a task presentation in the BBNaija house, Wanni X Handi shared a heartfelt story of their challenges after completing secondary school in 2016
The duo recounted their struggles with unemployment, homelessness, and bullying in Lagos.
After moving to Lagos, they faced a difficult commute to work, waking up at 3 a.m. to prepare and walk to their job, despite their small salary.
Following the loss of that job, they applied to over 100 positions but were rejected. This led to a period of joblessness, homelessness, and financial struggles.
Wanni X Handi eventually found a job they were unqualified for, but their performance did not meet their boss’s expectations, leading to termination.
However, they persevered and eventually discovered their passion for working as DJs.
Although they faced bullying and shame due to their gender, they continued to pursue their dreams.
