Ex-BBNaija housemate, Sammie is facing allegations of scamming a fan, one Emmanuel of ₦4.5 million
It’s alleged he promised to help the fan secure a slot on the show
According to Emmanuel, Sammie repeatedly asked for money, claiming it was needed to facilitate the process, and even advised him to take a loan when he struggled to meet the demands.
After the alleged scam, Emmanuel said he was left financially drained, forcing him to sell his car to repay the loan.
Sammie allegedly stopped communicating with him after the audition process ended without him being selected, despite promising a refund if the plan didn’t work out.
He said: “My name is Emmanuel. I was scammed of ₦4.5 million by my brother from Kogi State, Samuel. He advised me to get a loan. At the end of the day, I had to sell my car to pay back the loan. What hurt me the most is that I wasn’t just scammed by a random person, but by someone I trusted and considered a brother.”
