OAP Roby Ekpo couldn’t believe what he was told. Frustrated by the persistent poor power supply in Lagos, he decided to call his electricity distribution company to ask for answers.
Instead of a solution, he got a reply that left him in shock: “better you switch to solar, there’s nothing we can do o.”
For a moment, it didn’t even feel real. Was this really coming from the company responsible for supplying electricity?
Sharing his experience afterward, Roby couldn’t hide his disbelief: “Am I dreaming?”
The exchange has since sparked reactions online, with many residents relating to the frustration and wondering how long Nigerians will have to cope with unreliable power before real solutions arrive.
