The Ghanaian film and business community is grieving the loss of Beverly Afaglo, who died following a prolonged illness

The Ghanaian actress reportedly passed on Saturday night, May 23, at the International Maritime Hospital in Tema, where she had been undergoing cancer treatment.

Her manager, Abu Iddris, confirmed her d.eath on Sunday, May 24, and spoke about the difficult health condition she had been facing over the past two years.

“She battled cancer for two years. It was a long and painful fight, but she remained strong throughout,” he said.

He further explained that the illness was first identified as breast cancer and later became more complicated over time, with hereditary factors believed to have played a role in its spread.

Her passing marks a sad moment for colleagues, friends, and supporters who followed her work in the entertainment industry and her entrepreneurial journey.
