The Beyhive might want to get ready to study Beyoncé on a new level—Yale University is offering a course dedicated entirely to the music icon.
This spring, students at Yale can enroll in ‘Beyoncé Makes History: Black Radical Tradition History, Culture, Theory & Politics through Music‘, a class led by African American studies and music professor Daphne Brooks, as reported by ‘Yale Daily News‘.

Brooks, an expert in Black cultural studies, believes now is an ideal time to spotlight Beyoncé’s groundbreaking impact on American culture.
“This class seemed good to teach because Beyoncé is just so ripe for teaching at this moment in time,” Brooks shared with the outlet.
“She’s made countless breakthroughs and innovations and has uniquely woven history and politics into her work—there’s truly no one else like her.”
