Beyoncé is set to headline the halftime show for Netflix’s first-ever NFL broadcast, featuring the Houston Texans against the Baltimore Ravens on Christmas Day.
The Houston-born superstar, 43, announced the performance on Instagram Sunday evening with a promotional clip for the event at NRG Stadium.
In the teaser, Beyoncé dazzled in a red, white, and blue dress while standing atop a rose-adorned vehicle, catching a football.
The license plate on the vehicle read “BRNCNTRY,” a nod to her song ‘American Requiem‘, which played during the clip.
The video ended with a close-up of the singer.
The game, which airs at 4:30 p.m. ET/1:30 p.m. PT, marks a milestone as the first NFL game to stream on Netflix.
The high-profile performance follows Beyoncé’s record-breaking achievement of 11 Grammy nominations this month for her album ‘.
This brought her career total to 99 nominations, making her the most-nominated artist in Grammy history.
