Bianca Ojukwu, former beauty queen and widow of the late Nigerian leader Chukwuemeka Ojukwu, has extended her heartfelt congratulations to Chidimma Adetshina following the young star’s remarkable achievement at the 2024 Miss Universe pageant
On November 17, 2024, Chidimma made history by finishing as the first runner-up and being crowned Miss Universe Africa and Oceania—a groundbreaking accomplishment that has been widely celebrated on social media.
Bianca, who herself was crowned the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) in 1988, took to Instagram to share her admiration for Chidimma’s success. The newly appointed Minister of State for Foreign Affairs posted a photo of the beauty queen, accompanied by an inspiring message.
In her tribute, the 56-year-old mother of three commended Chidimma’s perseverance, resilience, and determination. Bianca emphasized that while Chidimma did not win the title of Miss Universe, her performance was Nigeria’s best showing in the competition. She acknowledged the significant challenges Chidimma had overcome to achieve this feat.
