Despite their long history of public disagreements, Blessing CEO has taken many by surprise by openly commending controversial activist and social commentator VeryDarkMan for his selfless humanitarian work

In a heartfelt video shared on Instagram, Blessing praised VeryDarkMan’s passion, courage, and commitment to serving humanity, especially in his recent outreach efforts to the people of Benue State.
“Very dark, black man. I want to commend you. Well done,” she began. “It’s one thing for your enemy to congratulate you and tell you well done. But anyway, I’m no longer your enemy. One thing is to criticize people, another is to applaud them when they’re doing better. We grow, and we evolve.”
She acknowledged her past criticism of him but emphasized the importance of recognizing growth and giving credit when it’s due.
“I want to commend your depth. Your guts. Guy, you get mind! Your love and passion for humanity is something that deserves to be celebrated. You’re not perfect—you have your flaws—but what you’re doing for people, especially those who can’t give anything back, is commendable. I swear to God, I can’t even do what you do. You risk your life. You put everything on the line like a soldier.”
Blessing CEO went on to reflect on the selflessness required to do the kind of work VeryDarkMan is known for.
“In a world where everyone is chasing money and trying to secure themselves, you still choose to fight for others. You have the means to enrich yourself, to focus on your own comfort, but you’ve chosen a different path—and that’s powerful.”
She also addressed the evolution of their dynamic and how growth is mutual.
“Someone said to me, ‘You mean VeryDarkMan is no longer a dirty boy?’ I said, he has grown. We’ve all grown. So, we commend you.”
Blessing concluded her message with heartfelt gratitude:
“Thank you so much for all you do. Thank you for your outreach to the Benue people. Thank you for the reskilling programs. This is just me, applauding you, saying thank you for being you. Keep doing what you do. Nwana bye.”
The video has since sparked mixed reactions online, with many praising Blessing CEO for putting differences aside to acknowledge another’s impact—a rare show of maturity in the often messy world of social media feuds.
