Boko Haram Retakes Marte Town In Borno- Dep. Governor

Boko Haram insurgents have taken over Marte
town in Borno again after Nigerian troops dismissed them from the town in February.
The Deputy Governor, Zannah Umar Mustapha told Reuters it is sad, but they are
    back.
“It is sad as we have been made to understand
that Marte is today completely fallen under the control of the insurgents,
which to us is a very huge set back,” he said.
The recapture of the town followed two strikes
this week in state capital Maiduguri, which left at least 12 people dead.
