Chelsea secured a narrow 1-0 away win against Bournemouth, thanks to a late goal from substitute Christopher Nkunku
Despite dominating the attack, Bournemouth failed to capitalize on their chances, including a missed penalty by Evanilson in the first half.
The hosts’ defense was constantly tested, but they couldn’t find the breakthrough. Nkunku’s winner came after a through-ball from Jadon Sancho, and Chelsea held on for the win.
The match was marked by a record 13 yellow cards and a physical encounter. Bournemouth had more opportunities but were denied by the woodwork and Chelsea’s goalkeeper.
The win moves Chelsea up to seventh, while Bournemouth remains in 11th place.
