Boxing legend Ruben “The Conquistador” Castillo has passed away at 68 after a courageous battle with cancer.
The four-time world title contender died Wednesday in Beaumont, California, surrounded by family and loved ones.
According to TMZ, WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman shared a heartfelt message:
“I’m so deeply saddened by the passing of Ruben Castillo. What a wonderful man.”
Castillo’s fearless spirit and unforgettable fights left an indelible mark on the boxing world, and his legacy will live on in every punch he threw.
