Martial arts legend and actor Chuck Norris has passed away
According to his family, Norris d!ed in Hawaii.
They shared a statement saying, “It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday [Thursday] morning. While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace.”
The statement continued, “He lived life with faith, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to the people he loved.”
Norris gained fame for his martial arts prowess and action films in the 1980s, including hits like The Delta Force and Missing in Action. He became a household name for his role as Texas Ranger Cordell Walker in the 1990s CBS series Walker, Texas Ranger.
In recent years, Norris had mostly stepped back from acting, making occasional appearances such as in The Expendables 2.
