The Port Harcourt Refinery in Nigeria has resumed crude oil processing, according to Olufemi Soneye, spokesperson for the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC).
Soneye revealed on Tuesday that the refinery has begun operations at 60% capacity, processing 60,000 barrels of crude oil per day.
The refinery, which has a total production capacity of 250,000 barrels per day, is restarting after multiple missed deadlines for its reopening.
