A British teenager who was jailed in Dubai for a s3xual relationship with a 17-year-old girl has d!ed in a car crash just three months after his release
Marcus Fakana, 19, was a passenger in a vehicle that collided with a truck in Tottenham, north London, in the early hours of Friday. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries but later d!ed.

The Metropolitan Police said officers had attempted to stop the car, but after a 60-second pursuit, they lost sight of it; it was subsequently found crashed into a truck.
Fakana, who was 18 at the time of the relationship, had been sentenced to one year in a Dubai prison but was granted a royal pardon in July by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Radha Stirling, his lawyer and founder of Detained in Dubai, said Fakana had “been grateful for the compassion shown to him by the British public” and that his experience had “given him a renewed focus on Christianity and prayer.” She added, “Marcus was thankful to have regained his freedom and was looking forward to building a positive future.”
The relationship came to light when the girl’s mother discovered messages between them after returning to the UK and reported it to authorities. Stirling said Fakana’s time in prison had caused “long lasting mental anguish” and lamented that he had only been free from July 3 to October 3.
Marwaan Mohamed Huseen, 19, of Argyle Road, Tottenham, has been charged over the crash. He faces charges including causing death by dangerous driving, driving without insurance, driving without a licence, and failing to stop. He is due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court.
The Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards and the Independent Office for Police Conduct have been notified of the incident.
