President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Aliyu Yahaya Gusau
as the new Director General of Budget office of the Federation, Nigeria

relations of the ministry of finance who signed the statement said he was
appointed on the 18th of August, 2015 with a renewable term of four
years.

Before his appointment, Gusau was director, fiscal policy,
budget monitoring and evaluation and has been acting as the director general of
budget office since the exit of former director general, Bright Okongwu. Gusau
is from Zamfara State
