Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti has reacted to the d8ath of former President Muhammadu Buhari, claiming that no other family in Nigeria suffered as much damage from the late leader as his own

In a video shared on Instagram, Seun, the youngest son of Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti, accused Buhari of unjustly persecuting his father and uncles—Koye and Beko Kuti—during his time as Head of State.
“There’s nobody Buhari has offended and damaged like my family. Buhari dealt with my family, but his d3ath is not any type of justice or victory for my family,” Seun said.
He expressed regret that the three men he called “better than Buhari”—Fela, Koye, and Beko—had all died long before the former president.
“My only regret is that my dad Fela, and my uncles Koye and Beko d!ed before him. The only solace I can take from his death is that the three of them will gang up against him in the afterlife if there’s such a thing.”
Buhari, who once ruled as a military head of state and later as a democratically elected president, died in a London clinic on Sunday. He was buried in Daura, Katsina State, on Tuesday.
