Actress, Bukky Wright has issued a strong warning to her fans about impersonators using her name to scam unsuspecting people online
Taking to her verified Instagram page, the actress shared a post titled “A MUST READ!” where she urged her followers to be cautious of fake accounts pretending to be her.
“Dear friends and supporters, please be cautious of fake accounts pretending to be me. I never requested for money, and I will never request for personal information or private chats on any other account. This is my main page!” she wrote.
Bukky Wright further revealed that a fraudulent post offering supposed job vacancies in the UK had recently surfaced from a fake account linked to her name. She made it clear that she has no connection to such offers and urged the public to disregard them.
“If you receive any suspicious messages or offers, kindly report and block those accounts immediately. A post was made on my account offering a job vacancy in the UK, and we later realized it was fraudulent. Please disregard it,” she stated.
Expressing her gratitude to fans for their continuous support, Bukky Wright assured them that their safety and trust remain her top priorities.
Her warning comes amid a rise in social media impersonation targeting Nigerian celebrities, where scammers often create fake accounts to solicit money or personal details from fans.
