Burna Boy took advantage of Sophia – Angela Okorie

Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has criticized Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy for allegedly failing to fulfill his promise to buy a Lamborghini for socialite Sophia Egbueje after a one-night stand

In a leaked audio recording, Sophia accused Burna Boy of reneging on his promise. Burna Boy responded by mocking Sophia on social media.

Angela Okorie defended Sophia, stating that Burna Boy took advantage of her and should have led by example as a role model. Okorie emphasized that Sophia had clearly communicated her expectations and Burna Boy should have respected her boundaries.

Okorie’s comments were shared in a video message on her Instagram page, where she expressed disappointment in Burna Boy’s actions and encouraged him to take responsibility for his promises.

She said:

“This is the wrongest thing any celebrity will ever do.

You’re supposed to be human, God made you this mega super star for a reason; to advocate for the people who cannot speak and to help people who need help. Because as far as I’m concerned that girl [Sophia Egbueje] needs help. But you took advantage of her because she told you her price.

“Those criticising Sophia for demanding a Lamborghini are not being fair because she has named her price. That’s who she is. She has told you she’s as big as a Lamborghini. If you can afford that then you can sleep with her. That’s what she said. And you, a public figure, an A-list mega super star that is supposed to be advocating for people that need help, you are taking advantage of it.”
