Carter Efe has shared a humorous story about the moment he saw Burna Boy at Shallipopi’s concert during the Iconiq Fest in Lagos
The surprise appearance by the Grammy-winning singer thrilled fans and became one of the most memorable highlights of the event.
Efe told a female friend, “You know I saw Burna Boy yesterday?” She responded in excitement, and he went on to describe the encounter: Burna Boy looked at him a couple of times, but tight security prevented him from getting close, leaving him feeling a bit disappointed.
His friend expressed sympathy, saying, “Sorry for everything you’ve been through,” and Efe replied, “Thank you.”
She then tried to encourage him, starting to say he had “made it” and seemed about to mention another top artist, but Carter humorously interrupted, saying, “Shut up your mouth, who have made it.”
