A man claiming to be a distant relative of Burna Boy has taken to social media to express his disappointment and frustration with the musician’s actions
In a viral video, the relative, who resides in Port Harcourt, dragged Burna Boy to filth, accusing him of being hypocritical and neglecting his own family.
The relative’s outburst was sparked by Burna Boy’s recent gesture of gifting $30,000 to Cubana Chief Priest’s brother amidst their online feud.
The relative felt Burna’s actions were inconsistent with his treatment of his own family members, who are allegedly struggling.
The relative claimed that Burna has never provided financial support to his family, despite his wealth and success.
He recalled a conversation he had with the singer last year, in which he requested support for a business venture, but was rebuffed and told to “hustle” instead.
The relative’s video message was laced with emotion and frustration, as he questioned why Burna would lavish money on a stranger, while neglecting his own family’s needs.
