Comfort Emmanson, the viral Ibom Air passenger, has been gifted an iPhone 16 Pro Max and a four-year brand ambassadorship deal by a businessman
The announcement was made on Facebook by businessman Oga Uby, who revealed that the iPhone is intended to replace the phone Comfort reportedly lost during the widely publicized altercation with Ibom Air staff and security personnel.
“I have donated an iPhone 16 Pro Max to Ms. Comfort Emmanson to replace her phone that was damaged during the incident with Ibom Air. I have also endorsed her for a four-year contract with our company, Tubex Logistics Services, as our Brand Ambassador. Congratulations,” Oga Uby wrote.
This latest gesture follows previous offers of support, including free trips to Qatar and Turkey, extended to Comfort by businessman Francis Van-Lare.
Comfort gained attention after a video of her confrontation with Ibom Air staff went viral, leading to her arrest and remand at Kirikiri Correctional Center. She was later released after the police formally withdrew the case, with the complainant and airline declining to pursue it further.
