The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has expressed its sorrow following the d3ath of Ugandan Premier League match official Peter Kabugo, who tragically collapsed during a match at Wankulukuku Stadium in Uganda
CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe extended his condolences to Kabugo’s family, the Federation of Ugandan Football (FUFA), and its president, Moses Magogo. In a statement, Motsepe shared his profound sadness over Kabugo’s untimely passing.
“On behalf of CAF, I express our deepest condolences to the family of Peter Kabugo, FUFA, President Moses Magogo, and the Ugandan people,” the statement read.
Motsepe also offered his hopes for peace and comfort for those affected by this loss, concluding with, “May Peter Kabugo’s soul rest in eternal peace.”
