Cardi B and Stefon Diggs were involved in a heated public exchange shortly after appearing to patch things up at a Mother’s Day event in Maryland.
The incident happened on Wednesday outside a coffee shop and gym in Burtonsville, where a video captured Cardi B appearing visibly upset and emotional during what looked like a confrontation with Diggs.
Eyewitnesses and clips from the scene suggest the rapper was highly expressive, speaking intensely and moving closer to Diggs as she voiced her frustration, while the football star remained composed, leaning on a nearby vehicle with his arms folded.
During the tense moment, a man believed to be part of Cardi’s entourage stepped in, placing a hand on her shoulder in an attempt to calm her down as the exchange continued for several minutes and attracted the attention of people around the area.
Reports also claim Cardi was heard making a pointed remark during the argument, although the exact reason behind the disagreement has not been coinfirmed.
