Cardi B, the popular American hip-hop artist, has responded strongly to recent claims made by Joe Budden, a controversial rapper-turned-podcaster, suggesting she was quitting music.
In a direct rebuttal, Cardi B clarified that she has no intentions of stepping away from her music career.
The Grammy-winning artist criticized Budden for his negative comments about her recent album release strategy and also accused him of spreading rumors about her drug use. Cardi B expressed frustration at Budden’s repeated attacks in the media and accused him of trying to create conflicts between her and other female rappers.
She further called out Budden for his hypocrisy, recalling a past encounter where she had given him a lap dance at Starlets when he was allegedly under the influence of drugs.
Cardi B made her stance clear during a recent X space session with fans, declaring, “I’m not a quitter. I might procrastinate, but I’ll never quit music. Not letting these b*tches take my bags!”
