CBN has announced that the Bank Verification Exercise (BVN) has been extended
to October 31, 2015. The Central Bank had earlier fixed
Tuesday, June 30, as deadline for the exercise, warning that defaulters may not
be able to access their accounts from July 1.

millions of customers spent hours on long queues at banks across the country,
struggling to have their data captured. But at the last minute, when people least expected it, they extended it. Oh dear, the struggle for registration was real, lol.
