In a video shared to social media, she explained that she has been a practicing Muslim for the past nine years..
She said while she was born into a Christian family, her marriage to a Muslim man played a role in her spiritual journey. She emphasized that her conversion was a personal choice, saying:
“I have transitioned from Christianity to Islam for the past nine years. I was born into a Christian home but I married a Muslim. I wasn’t forced into Islam.”
