Chocolate City has taken legal action against rapper Odumodublvck, accusing him of physically a.ssaulting one of its staff members during an incident at the Flytime Festival in Lagos
According to court documents filed before the Lagos State High Court, the label’s employee alleged that the incident happened on December 22, 2025, while he was carrying out his duties as a project manager for a Chocolate City artiste backstage at the event.

The claimant claimed that Odumodublvck approached him under the guise of having a conversation before allegedly striking him in the face and pushing him without any provocation.
The suit further alleged that even after security personnel intervened, the rapper continued making thre.ats, while one of his associates reportedly poured an alcoholic drink on the claimant, worsening the situation.
The claimant said the alleged a.ttack left him with facial and neck injuries, recurring headaches, body pains and emotional trauma, forcing him to miss work, travel plans and several professional engagements during the festive season.
He also claimed he incurred millions of naira in medical expenses and suffered an estimated ₦50 million in lost income due to missed projects and bookings.
In the suit, the claimant is asking the court to declare that Odumodublvck’s alleged actions amounted to unlawful a.ssault and battery.
He is also seeking compensation for medical expenses, financial losses and other damages, insisting that the incident negatively affected both his health and professional reputation.
