Nigerian diplomat and elder statesman, Dr. Christopher Kolade has passed away at the age of 93, his family has confirmed
In a statement announcing his d3ath, the family said;
“We are thankful for his incredible life of faith and service, and are grateful for God’s abundant blessings.”
Dr. Kolade reportedly d!ed peacefully on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
Born on December 28, 1932, in Erin-Oke, Osun State, he led an illustrious career spanning broadcasting, diplomacy, academia, and corporate leadership.
Widely admired for his integrity and commitment to ethical governance, Dr. Kolade was regarded as one of Nigeria’s most principled and accomplished public figures.
