Cindy Crawford’s son, Presley Gerber, d!ed on Sunday, Sept. 20, while in rehab, TMZ reported. He was 27 years old
According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, an autopsy for Presley has not been done at this time.
A family representative shared a statement on behalf of Presley’s mom, his dad, Rande Gerber, and his sister, Kaia Gerber. “The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time,” the rep told TMZ.
Before his death, Presley had long fought a drug addiction. In Dec. 2025, Presley shared a detailed since-deleted video on Instagram, detailing his struggle with addiction, People reported. He also frequently raised awareness for mental health on his social media.
“I feel like honesty is the best policy,” Presley opened up before noting that he was currently taking multiple depressant medications to treat “panic attacks.”
“The benzos have been fluctuating up and down depending on what’s been going on in my life. Unfortunately, I’ve had a lot of loss in many different forms recently, so that is not an excuse, but it’s the reason why I am where I’m at now,” he noted.
Presley went on to encourage others to seek help while also asking for help himself. “So you feel like you’re not alone, because that is how I feel most of the time, and I have a feeling that if I say all of this, a lot of people will at least know that there’s someone else going through it,” Presley shared. “And the second thing is, hopefully I find some people out here [who] are willing to help or know someone that can help.”
